Yoga Walking Meditation

Yoga Walking Meditation

With the change of season the body will also begin to make adjustments for cooler temperatures if you are in a climate like ours here in Seattle. I noticed this affect as a new arrival to the area within the last few years. As fall gives way to winter and the rains come almost daily we adjust mentally and physically. Some may wear an extra layer or two of clothing. Others may eat more warm soups. During the summer I began taking a walk in the park at least once per week near Lake Washington. And although the days are usually shadowed by clouds and getting shorter I still take a walk. It is great to see what mother nature has done as part of the transition from summer to fall. Beautiful hues of color, sparkles of raindrops combined with a brisk wind give us a clear signal that change is coming. When you walk regularly you notice the changes from week to week. And this week I enjoyed knowing that walking is meditation and yoga too.
