Be Inspired
Inspiration can come from almost anywhere. One day as you walk in the park you feel a spark, for a sense of adventure, to
take that long postponed trip out of town. Sitting to read a good book, could
find you momentarily considering making a call to an old friend. Standing in
line to donate your gently used clothes might open your heart to visit with a
new neighbor to say hello. If you are artistic just looking at a beautiful
sunset you are likely to find the perfect color to highlight your next art
piece. Musicians could be just about to enter the building for a gig and hear
the amazing sound from a beautiful bird, which is the perfect note to add to
your next improvised solo. Writers may come into a cafe to scratch out the
outline of their next book, essay, short story or poem and by just watching for
a few moments as someone across the room enjoys their cup of tea, you may see a
vision that brings the piece you are writing to the next level. Parents upon hearing
their children laughing might find a deeper meaning for their purpose in
their loved one’s lives. There is only one thing we must do to find inspiration,
be fully present in the moment. Thoughts are always coming and going, but
inspired thoughts come from a much deeper level and arise to give us a spark to
keep us going towards are dreams, destiny, happiness and peace of mind. It does
require our being open, ready to receive, somewhat calm, but mostly in tune
with ourselves that we know the difference between just another random thought
and a truly inspired thought. You will know the difference because the inspired
thoughts come from a deeper place within our being and take us to a deeper
place of understanding our true nature.
